GammaM[Index[label, Lorentz]]

is the internal representation for a Dirac matrix with the Lorentz index label.

GammaM[Index[label1, Lorentz], Index[label2, Lorentz], …]

is the internal representation for an anti-symmetrized product of Dirac matrices with the Lorentz indices label1, label2, …

Details and Options

  • The internal representation of the Dirac matrices are rarely used directly by user; they can be more conveniently entered using the γ short-hand.
  • Note that other Matchete manipulations assume that all Dirac matrices come wrapped inside the DiracProduct head.
