SuperSoftMatch

SuperSoftMatch[Lag]

integrates out the temporal components of the Gauge bosons, assuming that the Debye masses are heavy in the SuperSoft limit.

Details and Options

  • The function must be called always after DRMatch. It will automatically detect the temporal gauge bosons, consider them heavy and capture its Debye mass as an effective coupling.
  • The following options can be given:
  • EFTOrder6EFTOrder is an option for various routines specifying the targeted order in power-counting, as well as defining the power-counting of couplings.
    ThermalPowerCounting6ThermalPowerCounting is an option for various routine specifying the targeted order in terms of thermal EFT order. It also defines how does it scales with temperature the couplings.

Examples

Basic Examples  (1)

For using the command, first we need a dimensionally-reduced Lagrangian. Here we use as example the Abelian Higgs model

Then we can perform Dimensional Reduction to the desired EFT order.

The resulting Lagrangian can be automatically inserted in the code

The final result can be simplified with the usual routines

Finally we can truncate the Lagrangian based on a thermal power counting
