adj

is a standard symbol reserved for the name of adjoint representations.

Details and Options

  • The adjoint representation of a (gauge or global) group named G is referred to by G[adj]. The representation is automatically initialized with the group when using DefineGaugeGroup and DefineGlobalGroup.

Examples

Basic Examples  (1)

If we initialize a new symmetry group Gr, its adjoint representation is referred to as Gr[adj]. This is seen here in the Index labels of the structure constant in the internal Matchete form:
