Wilson coefficient exchange format (WCxf)

WCxf is a community standard for exchanging Wilson coefficients between HEP tools. Matchete can generate WCxf-compliant output files, enabling a direct interface with packages such as flavio (flavour observables) and wilson (RG running and basis translation).

Usage

ExportWCxf accepts either a matched EFT Lagrangian or a list of matching conditions from MapEffectiveCouplings, together with a JSON parameter card and an output directory:

ExportWCxf[mc, "path/to/input.json", "path/to/output/"]

The input JSON file specifies the numerical parameter points and must contain:

  • "matching scale" — the matching scale in GeV
  • "parameters" — list of parameter names
  • "dictionary" — map from Matchete symbol names to those parameter names
  • "parameter points" — dictionary of numerical values, keyed by integer IDs

One WCxf output file is produced per parameter point.

Notes

  • A detailed usage example is presented in the documentation of ExportWCxf.
  • Currently only SMEFT matching conditions in the basis loaded by LoadModel["SMEFT_Warsaw"] are supported.
  • ExportWCxf also accepts the direct output of Match, in which case the basis mapping is handled internally.
  • The WCxf basis conventions and normalisation follow the WCxf specification.
